7th Liberty Workforce Solutions Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a skilled Automotive Refinisher to perform surface preparation, painting, and refinishing on vehicle bodies. You will match colors and mix paint formulas to meet precise specifications and operate spray booths safely.
You will work with HVLP spray guns, spectrophotometers, and color systems, inspect finished work for quality, and maintain equipment while following safety and environmental guidelines.
Perform surface preparation, painting, and refinishing on automotive bodies and components. Match colors and mix paint formulas to meet precise manufacturer or custom specifications. Operate paint spray booths, pneumatic equipment, and finishing tools safely and efficiently.
Inspect vehicle surfaces, sand bodywork, clean impurities, and apply protective masking to unpainted areas
Use computerized color systems, formula charts, and spectrophotometers to mix base coats, clear coats, and primers accurately
Apply primers, paint coats, and clear coats evenly using HVLP spray guns in controlled spray booths
Inspect completed paint jobs for sags, runs, or dust; perform color sanding, buffing, and high-gloss polishing
Maintain paint equipment, clean spray guns, and replace paint booth ventilation filters regularly
Adhere to safety, environmental, and hazardous material disposal guidelines; wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) including respirators at all times
High school diploma or equivalent
2 to 5 years of experience in an auto body repair shop or dealership environment
Vocational training in automotive refinishing is a plus
ASE (B2 - Painting & Refinishing) or I-CAR certifications preferred
Expertise with spray guns, color matching theory, pneumatic tools, and masking techniques
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, work in confined booth settings, and wear respirator equipment
