Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced test automation engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Microsoft Playwright, Katalon Studio, or Selenium. You will automate web and API testing across Cards Management Systems and banking interfaces, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires 5–8 years in test automation, strong UI/API automation skills, and SQL data validation, with exposure to SIT and large-scale integration testing programs.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in test automation engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Katalon Studio (or Selenium).
• Experience developing automation frameworks, reusable components and automated regression suites.
• Strong knowledge of UI automation, API automation and integration testing.
• Experience validating REST APIs, JSON/XML payloads and service integrations.
• Hands-on knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automation frameworks and automated test scripts using Playwright and/or Katalon Studio (or Selenium).
• Automate web, API, integration and regression test scenarios across CMS, bank applications, digital channels and third-party interfaces.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
• Prepare automation execution reports, coverage metrics and quality dashboards.
• Contribute to framework enhancements, coding standards and reusable libraries.
