Job summary

PERSOL Outsourcing is seeking a tester to join the Institutional Banking Group Operations projects. The role requires strong automation skills with Java-based tools and the ability to design and execute test cases across web and mobile platforms.

The candidate will work on test planning, data preparation, and environment setup, collaborating with stakeholders to validate results and ensure quality across releases. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.

Qualifications

• Designing test cases using cucumber BDD format.
• 3+ years of experience on Web automation tools; UFT preferred.
• Automation framework development or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Support various Institutional Banking Group Operations projects as a core member.
• Learn and support test automation development using Selenium (Java) on web and mobile apps; assist test execution.
• Analyse test requirements to prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Plan and ensure test environment and data availability.
• Prepare test data required for testing.
• Conduct execution of test cases manually and/or using automation tools.
• Monitor and control test activities including defect tracking and retesting.
• Ensure completeness in validation of test cases and walkthrough results with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support various Institutional Banking Group Operations projects through participation as core member where required.
• Strong in Java programming to learn and support test automation development using Selenium (Java) on web and mobile applications and support the test execution
• Analyse test requirements to prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Plan and ensure test environment and data availability.
• Prepare test data required for testing.
• Conduct execution of test cases manually and/or using automation tools.
• Monitor and control test activities such as conduct execution of test cases, raise, monitor, track and retesting of defects.
• Ensure completeness in the validation of test cases, conduct test scenarios and results walkthrough with stakeholders.

Skills/Requirement

• Strong experience in designing test cases using cucumber BDD format.
• Minimum 3 years of experience on Web automation tools, preferable UFT (Unified Functional Test)
• Should be well versed in Automation (Selenium with Java) / (Appium with Java), , Framework development or maintenance.
