Position Type: 6 months Contractual Onsite:

Binondo /Taguig/Manila/Makati Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester with 5–7 years of software testing experience and strong hands-on expertise in test automation. The ideal candidate should have experience with Katalon Studio, with additional knowledge of Selenium/WebDriver, Java, Python/Playwright, and mobile automation using Appium. This is a client-facing, onsite role in the Philippines, requiring candidates who are locally based and willing to work onsite in Binondo, Taguig, Manila, or Makati.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Katalon Studio. Design and execute automated test suites for regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Enhance automation coverage for web and mobile applications. Analyze and debug failed automation scripts and resolve flaky or unstable test cases. Perform web automation testing and validate application functionality across different scenarios.
• Support mobile automation testing using Appium for Android and/or iOS applications.
• Create and maintain reusable, reliable, and scalable automation scripts.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, business stakeholders, and other project members to identify and resolve defects. Execute test cases, document results, report defects, and validate fixes. Contribute to improving automation frameworks, testing processes, and overall test coverage.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress, automation results, and identified issues.

Required Qualifications

5–7 years of experience in Software Testing/QA, with significant hands-on experience in automation testing.

Strong experience in Automation Testing using tools such as Katalon Studio, Selenium, Java, Python, or Playwright. Katalon Studio experience is preferred.

Basic to intermediate knowledge of Selenium WebDriver , including locators, XPath, and WebDriver concepts.

Working knowledge of Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. Experience with Web Automation Testing.

Exposure to Mobile Automation Testing using Appium , preferably for Android and/or iOS.

Strong understanding of software testing concepts, test execution, defect management, and regression testing. Ability to troubleshoot automation failures and identify the root cause of flaky test cases.

Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a client-facing environment.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Hands-on experience with Katalon Studio. Experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java. Experience with Python and Playwright.
• Experience with Appium and mobile application testing.
• Knowledge of automation framework development and maintenance. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to CI/CD integration and automated test execution pipelines
