Job summary

Deltek Systems Philippines, Ltd. is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable automation solutions across the software development lifecycle.

You will enhance testing frameworks, develop utilities, and create end-to-end and API test suites. Ideal candidates have strong ReactJS and TypeScript skills, hands-on Playwright testing experience, and familiarity with AI-assisted tools like Claude Code.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with modern JS/TS frameworks and testing tools.
• Proven ability to design and maintain test automation frameworks.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation solutions across the SDLC.
• Build and enhance automated testing frameworks with modern tools.
• Develop automation utilities, scripts, and internal tools for productivity.
• Create end-to-end, API, integration, and regression test suites.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Collaborate with engineering to identify automation opportunities.
• Develop dashboards and workflows for quality and delivery metrics.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
• Troubleshoot issues in automation frameworks and pipelines.
• Promote automation-first and AI-first engineering practices.
