Job summary

HRTx Inc in Laguna, Philippines, is seeking a Process Automation Engineer to lead automation initiatives, shaping efficiency and manufacturing performance. Work setup is Monday–Friday, dayshift, on-site at the Laguna facility.

You will identify process-improvement opportunities, define project scopes and timelines, evaluate suppliers, and oversee installation and qualification from planning to turnover with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; PRC license is advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years in process innovation, automation, or manufacturing engineering in food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems, industrial automation, PLC programming, control systems, and mechanization.
• Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration in fast-paced environments.
• Willing to travel and conduct site visits as needed to support project implementation.

• Manage supplier evaluation and selection to ensure equipment and solutions meet business and engineering standards.
• Prepare project proposals, secure funding approvals, and oversee project execution from planning through implementation.
• Supervise equipment testing, installation, qualification, and successful turnover to manufacturing operations while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Professional Engineer (PRC Licensed) is an advantage.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in process innovation, automation, or manufacturing engineering within the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of electromechanical systems, industrial automation, PLC programming, control systems, and mechanization.
• Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to travel and conduct site visits as needed to support project implementation and operational requirements.
