Job summary

Clark Outsourcing is seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to support 2D drawings, revisions, and legacy-document conversion at Clark Pampanga. You will convert engineering sketches, markups, PDFs into DWG files, draft floor plans, elevations, and utility layouts, and ensure drawing integrity across revisions, working onsite with international project teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as AutoCAD Draftsman or similar drafting role.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D drafting.
• Experience creating drawings from sketches, markups, PDFs or legacy documents.
• Experience with architectural floor plans, elevations, structural layouts, or utility layouts.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage revisions.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, drafting, design technology, or related field.

Position Title: AutoCAD Draftsman

Work Set Up: Onsite

Schedule: 8:00 PM - 5:00 AM PHT

Job Location: Clark Outsourcing - Building 35 Philexcel Business Park, Clark Pampanga

Quick Rundown:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and technically proficient AutoCAD Draftsman to support the preparation, revision, and maintenance of accurate 2D technical drawings. The successful candidate will work independently to convert engineering sketches, survey measurements, markups, redlines, and legacy documents into precise and organized AutoCAD drawings. This role requires strong experience with 2D CAD drafting, including floor plans, architectural elevations, structural framing, utility layouts, and drawing revisions. The ideal candidate is comfortable working from incomplete or marked-up source materials, interpreting instructions accurately, identifying missing information or inconsistencies, and producing clean, standardized DWG files that are ready for internal or client use.

What You’ll Do:

2D CAD Drafting & Redline Execution

• Independently convert engineering sketches, hand markups, redlines, survey measurements, PDFs, and other source materials into accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings.
• Prepare and revise floor plans, architectural elevations, structural framing layouts, utility plans, and other technical drawings as required.
• Execute redline revisions accurately while maintaining drawing consistency and document integrity.
• Convert legacy paper drawings, scanned documents, and PDF plans into workable and properly structured DWG files.
• Modify and update existing CAD drawings based on feedback, markups, revised measurements, and project requirements.
• Ensure all revisions are properly incorporated and reflected in the latest version of each drawing.

Drawing Standards & Quality Control

• Apply established CAD standards, including layering conventions, line types, dimensioning rules, annotation standards, blocks, and title block layouts.
• Utilize dynamic blocks and other AutoCAD tools where appropriate to improve drafting efficiency and consistency.
• Maintain accurate dimensions, scales, layouts, and drawing references.
• Review drawings for errors, inconsistencies, missing information, and discrepancies before submission.
• Maintain consistency across drawing sets and ensure that revisions do not unintentionally affect unrelated elements.
• Organize and maintain CAD files, reference documents, and project folders according to established naming and filing conventions.

Technical Coordination & Documentation

• Review project instructions, sketches, markups, and supporting documentation to understand drafting requirements.
• Communicate clearly with architects, engineers, designers, project managers, or other stakeholders when clarification is required.
• Identify missing, conflicting, or unclear information and elevate questions before making assumptions that may affect drawing accuracy.
• Maintain clear documentation of revisions, outstanding questions, and completed work.
• Track assigned tasks and manage priorities to meet project deadlines.
• Provide regular updates regarding project progress, potential issues, and items requiring clarification.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman, CAD Technician, CAD Operator, or similar technical drafting role.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, with a primary focus on 2D drafting.
• Demonstrated experience creating and revising technical drawings based on sketches, redlines, markups, measurements, and PDF or legacy documents.
• Experience with architectural floor plans, elevations, structural layouts, framing plans, utility layouts, or similar technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of CAD layers, blocks, dynamic blocks, dimensioning, annotations, layouts, viewports, and title blocks.
• Ability to accurately convert PDF, scanned, or paper drawings into editable DWG files.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy across multiple revisions.
• Ability to work independently and manage drafting assignments with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and file-management skills.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to identify unclear or conflicting information and ask appropriate technical questions.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, drafting, design technology, or a related field.
• Experience supporting architectural, engineering, construction, infrastructure, or technical design projects.
• Experience interpreting engineering sketches and survey measurements.
• Familiarity with structural framing and utility layouts.
• Experience using Bluebeam Revu for reviewing and executing markups or redlines.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and SketchUp.
• Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software is an advantage but not required.
• Experience working remotely with international architects, engineers, designers, or project teams.
