Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive and diesel engine systems.
• Experience repairing trucks and heavy equipment is an advantage.
• Familiarity with basic diagnostic equipment and automotive tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on trucks, heavy equipment, and automotive units.
• Diagnose mechanical problems involving engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and other components.
• Perform engine repair, oil changes, brake servicing, and replacement of defective parts.
• Conduct routine inspections to prevent breakdowns and major mechanical issues.
• Dismantle, repair, replace, and assemble mechanical components as needed.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment for repair and maintenance.
• Assist in troubleshooting vehicle and equipment problems and ensure proper testing after repairs.
• Maintain proper documentation of repairs and maintenance performed.

Job Summary:

• Responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining trucks, heavy equipment, and other automotive units of the company.

• Ensures that vehicles and equipment are in safe, reliable, and proper working condition.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of trucks, heavy equipment, and automotive units.

• Diagnose mechanical problems involving engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and other components.

• Perform engine repair, oil changes, brake servicing, and replacement of defective parts.

• Conduct routine inspection and maintenance to prevent breakdowns and major mechanical issues.

• Dismantle, repair, replace, and assemble mechanical components as needed.

• Use appropriate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment for repair and maintenance.

• Assist in troubleshooting vehicle and equipment problems.

• Ensure that repaired units are properly tested before release or deployment.

• Check and maintain proper levels of engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, and other necessary fluids.

• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.

• Follow company safety policies and proper procedures when handling vehicles, machinery, and tools.

• Report major mechanical problems, damaged parts, and required repairs to the immediate supervisor.

• Maintain proper documentation or records of repairs and maintenance performed.

• Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate, preferably with vocational or technical training in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Technology, or related field.

• With experience as an Auto Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, or similar position is preferred.

• Knowledgeable in automotive and diesel engine systems.

• Experience in repairing trucks and heavy equipment is an advantage.

• Knowledgeable in using automotive tools and basic diagnostic equipment.

• Physically fit and capable of performing hands‑on mechanical work.

• Hardworking, reliable, and detail‑oriented.

• Willing to work on‑site and perform field/service‑related duties when required.
