Job summary

HireMe.ph is seeking experienced Auto/Truck Diesel Mechanics in the Philippines. The role requires a high school diploma with vocational Auto Mechanical training and at least five years of hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems, with proficiency in computerized diagnostic equipment.

Two full-time positions are available, based in Makati or Mandaluyong. Applicants should be physically fit, detail-oriented, and able to work on cars and trucks as part of a busy service team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with completion of vocational Auto Mechanical course.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ work experience as Auto/Truck Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems including electrical, mechanical and electronic components, and diagnostic techniques.
• Ability to work with computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Physical strength and stamina to work on vehicles for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work in Makati or Mandaluyong City.
• Two full-time positions. Direct hire.

Responsibilities

• Inspect engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
• Conduct diagnostic testing to identify vehicle issues.
• Perform basic automotive care such as changing fluids and replacing worn parts to restore functionality.
• Schedule maintenance sessions and advise drivers on vehicle use.
• Provide accurate estimates for repair or maintenance work.
• Maintain work logs and repair records.
• Handle tools and heavy equipment as needed.
• Test parts and systems to ensure proper operation.
• Test drive vehicles after repairs and maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols and keep the work area clean.
• Perform related tasks as required.
