Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Experience with Australian accounting practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using accounting or financial management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting and financial activities.
• Process and maintain accurate financial records and transactions.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Perform account and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, schedules, and supporting documents.
• Review financial information and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with resolving discrepancies and maintaining accurate records.
• Support month-end and other periodic accounting processes.
• Assist with invoicing, payments, payroll, and other finance-related activities.
• Maintain organised and confidential financial records.
• Provide general administrative and accounting support to the team.
• Ensure tasks are completed accurately and within required deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
