Job summary

CloudPay Philippines Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Australia Payroll Specialist to own end-to-end payroll processing for Australian entities, ensuring compliance with local legislation and delivering accurate payroll services that meet client SLAs.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to manage payroll operations and resolve client queries. This is a client-facing role in a fast-paced APAC environment where your expertise in Australian payroll rules truly matters

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on Australia payroll processing experience.
• Strong understanding of Australian awards, legislation and tax rules.
• Experience working with regional payroll is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in MS Office and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end Australian payroll for clients weekly, bi-weekly and monthly.
• Collate payroll data, generate reports and journals.
• Handle redundancies, terminations, new hires, increases and back pays.
• Perform superannuation, taxation and other statutory contributions.
• Submit bank files and mass changes into payroll system.
• Year-end processing and reconciliation, including payment summaries.
• Address payroll and tax queries from clients promptly.
• Maintain SLA compliance and up-to-date payroll knowledge.
• Update payroll manuals as needed.

CloudPay is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Australia Payroll Specialist. In this client-facing role, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing for Australian entities, ensuring compliance with local legislation and delivering accurate, timely payroll services that meet client-specific SLAs. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to manage payroll operations, resolve client queries, and proactively drive improvements. Main responsibilities

• Prepare and process end to end Australian payroll (on and off cycle) on a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis for clients within APAC region
• Collate payroll information, process, produce report and journals
• Process redundancies, termination, new hires, increases and back pays
• Perform AU statutory contribution and deductions for superannuation, taxation, child support, tax treatment for termination and redundancy, PAYG Remit monthly superannuation contribution, payroll tax, PAYG and quarterly employee statements
• Perform uploading of bank file and mass changes for entry into payroll system
• End of year processing and reconciliation including payment summaries
• Handle all payroll and tax matters and queries from clients on a timely manner
• Perform payroll reconciliation related to General Ledger accounts
• Produce statutory and payroll reports and submit to various business units
• Proactively identify risk areas and work with team to establish solutions
• Ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) are met
• Maintain up to date knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory requirements
• Update Australia payroll manual as and when on a timely basis

Experience needed for this role

• Well versed with Australia payroll legislation and statutory requirements and filings
• Ability to interpret of awards, legislation, tax and superannuation
• Solid experience and knowledge of hands-on processing in-house Australia payroll experience
• Experience in regional payroll will be an advantage
• Good communication skills and able to explain payroll processing matters clearly.
• Proficiency in MS Office especially advanced excel skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Able to work under pressure and independently
• Able to priorities own workload
