The Audit Supervisor oversees sales, inventory, and audit activities in the commissary warehouse. This role ensures that records are accurate, complete, and compliant with the company policies. The Audit Supervisor leads the audit team, monitors inventory and sales data, identifies discrepancies, and works with accounting and operations teams to maintain proper controls and safeguard company assets.
Confirm daily sales of stores to ensure accuaracy and completeness.
Prepare and review variance reports to identify discrepancies.
Generate evaluation reports for management and accounting purpose.
Conduct monthly inventory audits in the commissary warehouse to verify stock levels.
Perform spot audits to check inventory accuracy and compliance with procedures.
Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of all inventory records.
Consolidate deliveries for billing and submit to the accounting team.
Coordinate with accounting and operations teams to resolve any discrepancies in billing or inventory.
Respond to daily emails related to audits, inventory, and sales issue in a timely manner.
Communicate audit findings, discrepancies, and updates to relevant departments and management.
Identify areas for process improvement in audit, inventory, and reporting procedures.
Support the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for the department.
Guide and assist audit staff in executing their responsibilities effectively.
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related business field.
Minimum of 3 years but less than 5 years experience in Auditing, Inventory management, or warehouse supervision, sales monitoring, franchise/commissary operations, or multi-store audits is preffered.
Highly organized, proactive, and analytical.
Good in written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with accounting, operations, and management teams.
Ability to supervise and guide audit or accounting staff.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial and inventory records.
Ability to analyze discrepancies and prepare variance reports.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, formulas, pivot tables)
Strong understanding of accounting principles, inventory management, and audit procedures.
