Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inventory counts on various schedules.
• Ensure compliance with inventory processes and SOPs.
• Prepare variance reports and maintain accurate logs.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Prepare variance reports and audit summaries.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff and inventory controllers; provide feedback to improve accuracy.
• Monitor stockroom organization, labeling, and storage; support major stock takes.

Job description

BRANCH ASSIGNMENT: Silang branch

Inventory Verification

• Conduct physical inventory counts (daily, weekly, monthly, or cycle counts).
• Compare physical stock with system records to identify variances.
• Verify inbound and outbound stock movements (receiving, transfers, returns).

Audit & Compliance

• Ensure all inventory processes follow company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Investigate discrepancies and report root causes to the inventory supervisor or manager.
• Audit high-value, fast-moving, and shrink-sensitive items regularly.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare detailed variance reports and audit summaries.
• Document adjustments and ensure they are approved before updating the system.
• Maintain accurate logs of damaged, expired, or missing items.

Coordination & Communication

• Work closely with warehouse staff, store teams, and inventory controllers.
• Support external and internal audit requirements.
• Provide feedback to improve inventory accuracy and prevent future errors.

Operational Support

• Monitor stockroom organization and ensure proper labeling and storage.
• Check compliance of FIFO/FEFO and product handling standards.
• Assist in major annual or quarterly stock takes.
