Job description

Maintains day-to-day support for the company in terms of conducting the full audit cycle and audit scope. Ensures that audited departments/employees/branches are in compliance with the company’s Policies and Procedures.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Conducts spot audits in the branches from time to time. This includes an audit of cash/card sales, ledger, sales invoices, collection receipts, deposit slips, and other cash-related matters.
2. Checks if the Business Permit, BIR 0606, BIR 2303, and Authority to Print (ATP) are properly posted/displayed in the branches.
3. Conducts regular price audits to ensure that price tags in the branches are updated every time a price adjustment memo from the head office is issued.
4. Conducts regular inventory counts in the branches and in the warehouse. This is done at least once a week on selected items.
5. Conducts general inventory counts in the branches and in the warehouse. This is done at least once a year.
6. Documents audit process and presents reports that reflect the audit’s results i.e. Cash Audit Findings, Price Audit Findings, Stock Inventory Report, etc.
7. Conducts follow-up audits to monitor compliance with set policies and procedures.
8. Analyzes, checks, and endorses for approval the inventory reconciliations and adjustments submitted by the branch.
9. Prepares “Authority to deduct” for the audited branches if the given due date to submit reconciliation has lapsed.
10. Prepares “Hold Commission Report” for all un-reconciled inventory discrepancies.
11. Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
