Job summary

Aprio, a Top 20 CPA and advisory firm, is seeking an Audit Associate to join its Assurance Team in a fast-growing environment. You will perform audit procedures, prepare workpapers, and analyze financial information, using U.S. GAAP/GAAS and CaseWare.

The role requires 2–3 years of audit experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and strong Excel and communication skills. Hybrid work setup; opportunities for professional development and growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2–3 years of audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS.
• Familiarity with CaseWare or similar applications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for audit and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Skillfully and accurately perform audit procedures in accordance with applicable auditing and accounting standards.
• Prepare audit workpapers and adjusting entries and review trial balances.
• Analyze financial information and compile financial statements and related reports for presentation to clients and internal teams.
• Evaluate accounting and audit issues and appropriately document conclusions and supporting evidence.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and well-supported audit documentation.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Communicate engagement status, audit findings, issues identified, and potential concerns to seniors and managers in a timely manner.
• Work independently and collaboratively with engagement teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.
