Job Summary:

The Senior Associate – Compliance and Assurance Group (CAG) is responsible for leading

complex client engagements, reviewing the work of Junior Associates, and ensuring the

quality of audit and tax compliance services. Senior Associates play a key role in

developing technical expertise, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining client

relationships while also progressing toward operational leadership roles.

The Senior Associate 1 (3–5 years) focuses on strengthening technical skills, handling

simpler engagements independently, and supporting team objectives.

The Senior Associate 2 (5–7 years) takes on greater responsibility, leading more

extensive engagements, supervising more junior staff, and contributing to business

development efforts.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA required or in progress; additional certifications (CMA, MBA) are an advantage.

Experience:

• Senior Associate 1: 3–5 years in audit, tax compliance, or assurance.
• Senior Associate 2: 5–7 years in audit, tax compliance, or assurance, with experience in leading engagements and supervising teams.

Skills and Competencies:

• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of IFRS, PFRS, ISAs, and Philippine tax regulations.
• Engagement Leadership: Ability to manage engagements, supervise teams, and ensure service quality.
• Client Relationship Management: Maintaining strong professional communication and service excellence.
• Process Improvement: Experience in engagement workflow optimization and automation.
