Job summary

TOA Global Pty is hiring an Intermediate Tax Accountant for a 100% remote, full-time position based in the Philippines. The role focuses on end-to-end Australian tax compliance, general ledger maintenance, and financial statement preparation for a client portfolio.

You’ll work with onshore management to process files to Trial Balance, prepare tax returns for trusts and partnerships, and oversee GST reconciliations for ATO. Strong Excel, Xero, MYOB, and HandiSoft skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Accounting Technology; CPA qualification is an advantage.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, with focus on Australian standards and tax returns.
• Experience with Australian cloud tax and accounting software ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare end-of-year tax returns for individuals, trusts, and partnerships.
• Process accounts up to Trial Balance and post general ledger entries.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports and GST reconciliations.
• Support audits and liaise with tax authorities regarding issues.
