TOA Global in the Philippines welcomes a Junior Accountant with Australian accounting exposure to join our public practice workflow. You will mentor under seasoned accountants and tackle tax returns, BAS/IAS support, and basic compliance for Australian clients.
You'll ensure accurate financial data, perform bank reconciliations, and liaise with international stakeholders while advancing toward more complex tax and reporting tasks in a dynamic Singapore/Australia–NZ–Philippines practice group.

Salary Range: Php 56,000 - Php 74,000

Master of Australian Tax Compliance: Take ownership of individual and sole trader tax returns, ensuring they meet rigorous Australian standards. Under the mentorship of senior accountants, assist in the preparation of BAS and IAS, turning raw financial data into compliant lodgments.
Architect of Financial Accuracy: Build the foundation for pristine financial reporting. Manage bank reconciliations, execute precise account coding, and complete simple workpapers that allow senior leadership to deliver high-level insights to their clients.
Strategic Team Collaborator: Work hand-in-hand with managers to deliver accurate, timely results across a diverse portfolio. Play a key role in the client service chain by proactively communicating to resolve missing information and ensuring no detail is overlooked.

The Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of mandatory experience within an Australian accounting firm or public practice environment.
The Credentials: A Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
Technical Foundation: Strong hands‑on knowledge of preparing individual returns and basic compliance. You are already comfortable navigating Australian accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, HandiSoft, or APS.
The Mindset: A team player with an appetite for learning and a sharp eye for detail. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with international stakeholders and the organizational ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality.
