TOA Global is seeking a detail-driven Junior Accountant to support our Business Advisory team from a 100% remote role in the Philippines. You will gather data, reconcile accounts, assist in preparing financial statements, and file Australian tax returns under supervision.
You will work daytime hours Mon-Fri, with a salary range of PHP 56,000–74,000 per month and access to HMO and career growth within a global firm.

We are seeking a detail-driven, motivated Junior Accountant to support our Business Advisory team in delivering accurate accounting processes and tax compliance. Reporting directly to the Manager or Assistant Manager and operating 100% remotely during daytime business hours, you will gather data, reconcile accounts, assist in preparing financial statements, and execute tax filings for Australian business entities and individual clients.
Financial Reporting & Bookkeeping: Reconcile accounts, process general ledgers, and assist in preparing financial statements for individual, trading, and investment entities.
Tax Compliance & Filings: Assist in the preparation of income tax returns, Business Activity Statements (BAS), Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), payroll tax, and land tax obligations.
Tax Principle Application: Apply fundamental knowledge of GST, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), assessable income, allowable deductions, and Division 7A rules under senior supervision.
Workflow & Data Management: Gather and analyze financial documentation, manage personal work deadlines, assist with billing and debtor tracking, and maintain organized engagement files.
Collaborative Team Support: Actively participate in team discussions, contribute to continuous service delivery improvements, and support team productivity goals.
Education & Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (or a related field); eligibility to enroll in or currently pursuing CA/CPA qualifications (or equivalent).
The Experience: 1+ years of Australian business services accounting experience, having achieved all core competencies of a graduate-level accountant.
Software Competency: Practical proficiency in cloud accounting software platforms and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, self-management skills, and excellent written and verbal English communication.
