Role Brief
This is a part-time Bookkeeper position supporting Rpoint’s Australian operations. The role will initially focus on straightforward, high-volume bookkeeping activities, with the primary objective of reducing the administrative workload currently managed by the in-house Accountant.
The Bookkeeper will work directly within Rpoint’s existing cloud-based systems, primarily Xero, and will initially take ownership of bank and credit/debit card reconciliations across the business. A key part of the role will be ensuring transactions are accurately allocated to the appropriate business areas/cost centres so that financial reporting remains accurate and meaningful.
As the individual becomes familiar with Rpoint’s business, systems and processes and builds trust with the team, the scope can expand into invoicing, financial reporting, balance sheet activities and potentially Australian payroll.
Rpoint is looking for someone reliable and detail-oriented who can become a consistent, long-term member of the team and grow with the role over time.
