Job summary

Metrobank's Cash Management Services unit seeks a Junior Officer to support daily CMS operations in the Enterprise Services Sector. You will help manage the CIV and offsite ATMs and serve as the vault custodian to ensure secure cash handling.

You will coordinate with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas on cash deposits/withdrawals, verify cash deliveries, supervise counting and balancing, and assist in the Cashier’s Checks process and cash disbursement system.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operation of the Cash Management Services unit.
• Manage the branch CIV and offsite ATMs; act as vault custodian.
• Coordinate with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas on cash deposits/withdrawals.
• Sign/countersign documents related to cash management operations.
• Monitor cash transfer/requisition requests from branches; prepare daily itineraries.
• Verify cash deliveries and pickups to/from branches; supervise cash counting, sorting and verification.
• Conduct daily CIV balancing; check the CIV report; confirm pickup/delivery schedules.
• Oversee preparation of Cashier’s Checks and ensure proper release to branches.
• Support cash services for CMSU host branch ATMs including balancing sheets.
• Troubleshoot ATMs and retrieve cards; manage CAM cash retrieval and replenishment.
• Accept cash retrieved from CCAM and coordinate with relevant departments for reclassification.
• Perform other cash management tasks and respond to client queries promptly; escalate issues as needed.
• Assist in related functions as assigned.
