Job summary

Finastra is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join our Manila team, reporting to the Team Lead. You will design, develop, analyze, and maintain high-quality software product applications to support lending, payments and universal banking.

You will participate in design meetings, develop code, test and debug, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions; fresh graduates are welcome to apply and beneficial skills include Java, JavaScript, REST APIs, HTML, CSS, and SQL.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related courses
  • Experience with Java, JavaScript preferred.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, HTML, CSS, SQL preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity independently.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and development skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of required programming languages.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; effective customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Description

What will you contribute? Reporting to the Team Lead, the Associate Software Engineer designs, develops, analyzes, and maintains high‑quality software product applications. This position is located in Manila.
