Job summary

WPP Media, a leading AI-driven media operating unit, seeks a Social Associate to drive social campaigns for a portfolio of clients. You will collaborate across client teams and internal specialists to deliver strategic, creative, and data-informed communications solutions.

In a hybrid environment, you’ll learn the tools and processes that underpin successful campaigns, mentor junior teammates, and help shape client growth through integrated media planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall strategic communication planning process that will address client’s business needs
• Supervise team’s overall output to ensure quality, accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
• Manage day-to-day client requirements through mentoring junior members of the team
• Appropriate and delegate tasks to individual members of the team, ensuring that they are given adequate time, resources and training to perform the tasks
• Conduct annual and interim review of team members in a thorough and professional manner
• Build and maintain a productive relationship with clients and team members
• Assist with fee and contract negotiation as well as other aspect of the business
• Work with the client to arrive at the best processes/ system for managing their business
• Work with other teams/departments to promote clients interest with strategically important media owners
• Take part in new business pitches and provide insightful and comprehensive communications solutions for the agency and its clients

Role Summary

This role is within WPP Media where you will be instrumental in performing Social campaigns for a portfolio of WPP Media clients as a Social Associate.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

In three months:

• Understand the client business and the category and key drivers of growth
• Build a collaborative relationship with your clients and act as the lead contact across assigned brands
• Embed into the internal team and understand the different specialist teams you work with
• Understand the key tools and processes critical to the everyday running of the account

In six months:

• Lead your own planning response from insight and strategy through to execution
• Project manage cross-media, category and industry leading campaigns

In 12 months:

• Work closely with the client team and other specialist teams on at least one project
• Coach junior members of the team to achieve their goals
• Deliver a positive client performance rating on your brands and helped deliver a positive over-all score for the team
