Job summary

Ingram Micro is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to classify products under HTS/ECCN and ensure compliance with U.S. export controls. The role involves immersion into hardware, software, and services and requires collaboration with senior staff to release orders within SLAs.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree, at least 2 years in trade compliance, and strong English communication. Night shift scheduling with monthly onsite presence is expected in Metro Manila.

• Must have HTS/ECCN experience.
• Above average English communication skills (Verbal and Written).
• Willing to work on night shift schedule and 10 days onsite/month.

• Ensure compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with Sr. associates for final decision on order releases.

Position Summary:

• Responsible for the ECCN and HTS classification recommendation of products in the technology industry, with final decision to be confirmed by Sr. associates, to result in the transactional release of U.S. export orders in compliance with all U.S. Export Control Laws and regulations.
• This position requires familiarity with the fundamentals of the U.S. Export Administration Regulations and the US Harmonized Tariff Schedule.
• The work involves the progressive immersion and understanding of hardware, software, services and technology using guidelines provided by Sr. associates.
• This position requires a methodical approach to evaluating products in the technology industry, without sacrificing accuracy when delivering results through the release of order holds within department SLAs.
