Job summary

Ingram Micro Philippines BPO LLC in Manila is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to classify products under HTS/ECCN and ensure shipments comply with U.S. export controls.

You will work with senior associates to finalize classifications, maintain accurate records, and resolve compliance holds within SLA. The role requires attention to detail, strong English communication, and willingness to work night shifts with some onsite days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• At least 2 years of experience in trade compliance processes.
• Must have HTS/ECCN experience.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Willing to work night shift and 10 days onsite per month.

• Collaborate with Sr. associates to finalize export classifications and ensure order releases comply with US export laws.

Position Summary:

Responsible for the ECCN and HTS classification recommendation of products in the technology industry, with final decision to be confirmed by Sr. associates, to result in the transactional release of U.S. export orders in compliance with all U.S. Export Control Laws and regulations. This position requires familiarity with the fundamentals of the U.S. Export Administration Regulations and the US Harmonized Tariff Schedule. The work involves the progressive immersion and understanding of hardware, software, services and technology using guidelines provided by Sr. associates. This position requires a methodical approach to evaluating products in the technology industry, without sacrificing accuracy when delivering results through the release of order holds within department SLAs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field of study
• At least 2 years functional experience in Trade compliance processes
• Must have HTS/ECCN experience
• Above average English communication skills (Verbal and Written)
• Willing to work on night shift schedule and 10 days onsite/month
