Job summary

Adani Transmission seeks a seasoned Security Manager to lead end-to-end site operations at the Hinoba-an facility, ensuring SOP compliance and guiding the team on exceptions.

You will oversee surveillance, access control, traffic operations, crisis response, and the integration of security with strategic objectives. Bachelor’s degree in Security Management and 6+ years in security leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management or related field.
• Minimum 6+ years in security management with at least 1 year in an I&V department or similar field.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end site operations, ensuring SOP compliance and guiding the team on exceptions.
• Oversee surveillance and patrol activities using CCTV systems and document findings.
• Supervise Access Control and manage issuance/deactivation of visitor access cards.
• Oversee traffic operations, handling vehicle and cargo authorizations with GPS/RFID tools.
• Act as first responder to crises and incidents, ensuring swift, effective action.
• Integrate operational inputs into security strategy and roadmaps for the site.
• Design and recommend operating model and SOP enhancements.
• Collaborate with Site Security Head to assess partner performance and relationships.
• Maintain a digital mindset, leveraging AI advances to improve security.
• Develop and mentor a respectful, safe, high-performing security team.

Job description

Manage end-to-end site operations, guaranteeing compliance with the operating model and SOPs, and guide the team on handling exceptions.

Surveillance and Patrol:

Conduct internal patrols using CCTV and document findings, maintaining a high level of security vigilance.

Access Control Management:

Supervise the Access Control team, ensuring process adherence, and manage the issuance and deactivation of access cards for various visitors.

Traffic Operations Supervision:

Oversee business traffic operations, including authorization checks of vehicles and cargoes using GPS and RFID tagging tools.

Crisis Response:

Act as the first responder to crises, emergencies, and incidents, managing exceptions and ensuring swift and effective action.

Strategic Operations Integration:

Incorporate operational inputs into the business's strategic objectives and security roadmap, ensuring that site-specific needs are addressed.

Operating Model and SOP Design:

Offer recommendations for the design of the operating model and SOPs, ensuring that operational processes are effectively integrated.

Partner Performance Management:

Collaborate with the Site Security Head to assess and manage the performance of empanelled partners, building strategic relationships.

Digital Mindset:

Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.

Team Development:

Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success.

Key Stakeholders - Internal:

Head of Section - Security, Security Personnel, Audit & HR team, Direct Reportees.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, or a related field

Work Experience:

Minimum 6+ years’ experience in security management with at least 1 years of experience in an I & V department or similar field
