Job summary

Maples Group, supported by MicroSourcing in Taguig, seeks an Associate, Fund Accounting in a hybrid, day-shift role. You will prepare NAV packages, manage client data on-boarding, and liaise with managers and custodians to ensure accurate NAV reporting.

You will support audits, generate management reports, and collaborate with global teams to deliver timely services. Strong Excel skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.

Responsibilities

• NAV package preparation: build low to medium complexity NAV packages per MaplesFS policies.
• Database & client take-on: ensure data accuracy for new client/fund setup and closures.
• Stakeholder liaison: coordinate with investment managers, prime brokers, custodians on trading activities and NAV prep.
• Audit support: respond to audit inquiries and provide required information.
• Global collaboration: work with teams across Maples Group offices to ensure timely service.
• Fee & revenue management: process fees, prepare invoices, and run monthly accruals.
• Management reporting: produce KPIs, AR, profitability reports.

Your Role

• NAV Package Preparation: Prepare low to medium complexity Net Asset Value (NAV) packages in strict accordance with MaplesFS policies and procedures.
• Database & Client Take-On: Ensure the proprietary database is completed with highly accurate data by the client's take-on point; manage data entry for new client/fund setups as well as data management for fund closures and terminations.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate with internal and external parties—including investment managers, prime brokers, and custodians—regarding trading activities, transaction processing, and NAV preparation as required.
• Audit Support: Liaison with auditors to efficiently provide requested information and respond to audit queries.
• Global Collaboration: Partner with various functions across the company's global offices to ensure services are delivered timely and accurately.
• Fee & Revenue Management: Handle fee processing management, including booking fees into the billing system, preparing invoices, and completing monthly revenue accrual reports.
• Management Reporting: Retrieve, analyze, and prepare management and client reports covering KPIs, Accounts Receivable, Profitability, and other essential metrics.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Education: Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Computer/Technology.
• Experience Level: Open to fresh graduates (Accounting/Finance) or individuals with a couple of years of relevant experience (Level 1 / Associate 1).
• Communication: Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Excel (Vlookup and Pivot Tables are essential).
• Core Attributes: High level of integrity, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines for client deliverables.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• System Knowledge: Prior experience or familiarity with the Advent Geneva system is highly preferred.
• Data Savvy: Experience with Power Query or advanced data visualization tools is a plus.
• Mindset: Proactive attitude with a willingness to suggest process improvements and efficiencies.
• Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills with a "team player" approach to global collaboration.
