Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or a closely related field.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or auditing, including 2–3 years in a managerial role.
• CPA license is a strong advantage, though not strictly required.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Tax Compliance: compute, prepare, and file national and local tax returns (e.g., Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Taxes) with BIR/LGUs.
• Tax Strategy and Risk Management: monitor tax law updates and advise on tax planning and compliance risks.
• Audit and Regulatory Management: be the primary contact for external auditors and BIR reviews ensuring audit-ready documents.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: lead preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Team Leadership: supervise, train, and mentor local accounting staff for strict compliance.
• Culture Building: foster an environment of accuracy, accountability, and continuous professional growth.

What You'll Do

• End-to-End Tax Compliance: Spearhead the accurate computation, preparation, and timely filing of all required national and local tax returns (e.g., Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Taxes) with the BIR and relevant Local Government Units (LGUs).
• Tax Strategy and Risk Management: Monitor updates in Philippine tax laws and regulations, proactively advising leadership on tax planning, compliance risks, and process improvements.
• Audit and Regulatory Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, BIR reviews, and tax assessments, ensuring all financial documents and schedules are audit-ready.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Lead the preparation, review, and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to drive informed business decisions.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor our local accounting staff, guiding them in daily tasks and strict compliance standards.
• Culture Building: Foster a team environment built on accuracy, accountability, and continuous professional growth.

What You'll Bring

• Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or a closely related field.
• Experience: 4+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or auditing, including at least 2-3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Tax Expertise: Demonstrated, hands-on experience navigating Philippine taxation, BIR reporting requirements, and corporate tax compliance.
• Communication: Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Integrity: A proven track record of handling highly confidential financial data with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
• Bonus: A CPA License is a strong advantage, though not strictly required.
