Infinit-O is seeking a Portfolio Operations Specialist to support trading, investment and reporting activities, ensuring scalable workflows and high-quality client service for internal and external relationships.

You will handle reconciliation and reporting tasks—cash, positions, NAV, performance and returns—while mentoring Associates and implementing process improvements. A Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting and at least 2 years in a multinational or banking setting are required.

Operations is responsible for supporting the various trading, investment and reporting activities of the firm. The core mission of the Operations group is to establish scalable investment workflows, ensure a controlled operating environment and deliver high-quality client service to both internal and external business relationships.

Portfolio Operations Team is the center of back office operations wherein the team is responsible for supporting the various trading, investment, client, reporting and reconciliation activities of the firm. Specifically, reconciliation and reporting include cash reconciliation, positions reconciliation, net-asset value reconciliation, performance and returns reconciliation.

In addition to being the liaison between internal groups, the Portfolio Operations Team delivers high quality client service to external business relationships. The client services group helps build scalable investment workflows and assists in the design and implementation of firm-wide projects, operational due diligence, counterparty management and client related activities.

Portfolio Operations is comprised of HFMF Recon, Derivatives Recon, Admin Recon, Mutual Funds Admin, Managed Accounts Admin and Fees and Performance teams.

Admin Recon is responsible for financial statements, net-asset value reconciliation/admin reconciliation, investor reconciliation and open items for admins.

Specific Duties And Responsibilities

• Specialist is to prepare, review and complete assigned deliverables within a predetermined time set forth in the work allocation.
• Specialist is expected to properly communicate with onshore counterparts, custodians, brokers, administrators and regulatory agencies to query, escalation and resolve issues pertaining to the processes and deliverables of the team.
• Responsible for reviewing and maintaining the quality of output by Associates.
• Facilitate and assist team lead to Onboard, Train and ensure development of Associates.
• Act as a positive resource, mentor and provides advice and assistance for the Associates.
• Facilitate and assist team lead in ensuring Associates understand all team processes including new and updated processes.
• Regularly collaborate with team lead on process improvements, processes reviews and projects that may increase the efficiency and accuracy of the group.
• Approving requests from associates to a certain level of authority assigned by the team lead
• Take responsibility for self-development and continuous learning to maintain and achieve the required knowledge for the position.
• Take part in utilization and resource planning of the team.
• Ensure completeness and update of process documentation and manual.
• Serve as back up resource in case the team is short-staffed.
• Any related process as required by onshore and offshore.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• The candidate should have an understanding of general fund accounting
• Understanding and valuation of financial products including but not limited to equities, fixed income, options, swap futures and forwards.
• Excellent English, oral and written, communication skills.
• High attention to detail
• Can work with minimal supervision and deliver high quality output
• Must be highly organized and with excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize activities effectively.
• Must be proactive, motivated, detail-oriented, a team player and knows how to work with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and metrics.
• The candidate should show the ability to use basic to intermediate formulas in excel

Education and Experience

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Financial Management, Economics, Accounting or other related business or financial course.
• At least 2 year experience from a multinational company or a banking related work would be an advantage.
