MEGACITY GENERAL CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT CORP. in Makati City is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the QS in managing the financial and contractual aspects of infrastructure projects.

The role involves preparing BOQ/BOM, take-offs, BIM, and tender documents for DPWH/government projects, with 1–5 years’ DPWH experience; requires a Civil Engineering degree and proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam Revu, and estimation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Preferably 1-5 years’ experience in DPWH Project or as DPWH contractor.
• Submit proposal to DPWH when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQ and BOM.
• Prepare DUPA.
• Plans Take-off / Estimate.
• Prepare Canvas Sheet.
• Prepare Request for Information and Request for Approval.
• Communicate with Designers and other engineers.
• Create BIM.

• Evaluation of Payments and Billings.
• Prepare document for Claims and Change Orders.

JOB OPENING:

Position Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Department: CWD/QS/Engineering

Location: Makati Office

Employment Type: Project-based

Work Schedule:

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Reports To: QS Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:

An Assistant Quantity Surveyor supports the Quantity Surveyor in managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join MEGACITY GENERAL CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT CORP. in their Makati City, Metro Manila office. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of construction projects through the application of your technical expertise and commercial awareness.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

With experience with Infrastructure, Vertical construction, or Roads and Bridges

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineer

Preferably 1-5 years’ experience in DPWH Project, Contractor of DPWH, Submit proposal to DPWH

PREFERRED SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

Proficient in MS Offices, Auto-Cad, Revit, Sketchup, Bluebeam Revu, and can Estimate

Effective communication skills and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams

Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Certification / license (if required)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Salary Range: 25K to 27K
