Job summary

A & L Fishpond Hatchery Inc. in Apalit, Pampanga, is seeking an Assistant Plant Supervisor to manage the ice production plant's daily operations and ensure targets are met with high quality standards.

This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of plant operations, and the ability to train staff, implement SOPs, analyze KPIs, and coordinate with management to maintain safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any related field is an advantage.
• Prefer supervisory experience in manufacturing, production, food processing, or logistics.
• Strong technical knowledge of plant operations, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control, productivity, and inventory management.
• Ability to work under pressure and effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Willing to work on-site in Apalit, Pampanga.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations and ensure production targets are achieved.
• Manage production schedules and workflow to maintain consistent ice output.
• Monitor, inspect, and coordinate maintenance of plant equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Supervise, train, and motivate plant personnel while promoting a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
• Coordinate with the General Manager, Plant Supervisor, and other departments to resolve operational issues promptly.
• Review production orders and processing schedules, making critical workflow decisions when necessary.
• Analyze production data and prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and workplace safety regulations.
