GSK UK is seeking a field-based Hospital Account Manager to build trusted clinical relationships with hospital clinicians, pharmacists and relevant stakeholders across Home Counties & East Anglia, supporting better patient care and formulary decisions.

Qualifications

  • Degree level education with current ABPI certification.
  • Proven experience in customer facing pharma roles delivering products to patients.
  • Strong relationship-building with hospital stakeholders.
  • Clear communication and presentation skills for clinical audiences.
  • Understanding of NHS structures and hospital decision-making pathways.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and manage a defined territory with travel.
  • Full UK driving licence or ability to travel across your territory as required.

Position summary

You will lead hospital account activities within Home Counties and East Anglia to build trusted clinical relationships and support better patient care. You will work with hospital clinicians, pharmacists and other relevant stakeholders, and with cross-functional colleagues in medical, market access and commercial teams. Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications & Skills

We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:

  • Degree level education with current ABPI certification
  • Proven experience in customer facing roles within the pharma industry, with a clear record of successfully delivering products to patients
  • Strong relationship-building skills with hospital stakeholders, including pharmacists and clinicians.
  • Clear and confident communication and presentation skills for clinical audiences.
  • Understanding of NHS structures and hospital decision-making pathways.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and manage a defined territory, including regular travel across the assigned area.
  • Full UK driving licence or ability to travel across your territory as required.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Clinical background as a pharmacist, nurse or other hospital clinician.
  • Experience of hospital procurement and formulary processes.
  • Experience delivering or supporting quality improvement or service development projects.
  • Familiarity with digital and remote engagement tools for healthcare professionals.
  • Experience in relevant therapeutic areas, such as respiratory or vaccines.
  • Relevant industry certification or training for healthcare engagement.
Working pattern

This role is field based across the Home Counties & East Anglia. Expect regular travel across your assigned territory and occasional national travel for training or team meetings.
