Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a technical expert for depositary services to act as a knowledge resource, driving adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices. You will review complex matters, ensure quality, and provide guidance to internal teams and clients.

You will build relationships with stakeholders, lead process improvements, and contribute to training and knowledge-sharing programs, while supporting organizational excellence and sustainable client outcomes in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or Economics.
• Minimum 5 years in depositary/custody operations or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of depositary regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and risk management.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

A technical expert position responsible for providing specialized knowledge in depositary services without supervisory duties. This role ensures quality standards, reviews complex matters, and serves as a technical resource and a subject matter expert while implementing best practices across depositary operations.

What you will do

• You’ll provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise for depositary services, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• You’ll review and oversee complex depositary matters, critical documentation, and escalated client issues to ensure accuracy, quality, and risk mitigation.
• You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, coordinating effectively to support operational objectives and client outcomes.
• You’ll lead process improvement initiatives, develop operational procedures, and drive the implementation of best practices to enhance efficiency and control frameworks.
• You’ll support organizational excellence through technical guidance, quality monitoring, and contributions to global training and knowledge-sharing programs.

ABOUT YOU:

• You have bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or equivalent are a plus.
• You have minimum 5 years of experience in depositary/custody operations, fund administration, audit, or other financial services environments.
• You have strong knowledge of depositary regulations, compliance requirements, and operational risk management standards.
• You have demonstrated expertise in handling complex depositary activities, including documentation review, stakeholder engagement, and quality oversight.
• You have proven track record of driving process improvements, enhancing operational efficiency, and implementing best practices within control frameworks.
