Job summary

Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. is seeking an experienced banking risk advisor to lead end-to-end client engagements and mentor junior staff. You will manage teams of associates, review commercial loans for policy compliance, and assess credit risks within portfolios.

Successful candidates will coordinate with onshore (US) teams, ensure regulatory adherence, and drive continuous improvement across engagements in a dynamic financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (M. Com/B. Com/MBA). Banking focus/audit would be a plus.
• 6–8 years of banking experience with lending, credit analysis and loan review.
• Strong knowledge of US banking rules and regulations preferred.
• Solid understanding of business banking, commercial loan products, and credit policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements end-to-end, coordinating outputs across teams and mentoring junior talent.
• Meet utilization and time targets (1,560 hours, 68% of time).
• Serve as primary client contact and maintain regular communication with onshore team or client executive.
• Plan and allocate tasks for teams of 3+ associates to meet delivery timelines.
• Review commercial loans to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assess credit risks in loans and opine on risk grades.
• Review origination/renewal documentation and ensure policy compliance.
• Document observations and deviations for discussion with client; ensure adherence to US banking laws.
• Lead calls with US onshore teams to discuss progress, quality, and productivity.
• Champion continuous improvement and support risk advisory services for financial clients.
