Job summary

SotoGrande Baguio Hotel in Baguio City, Benguet, is seeking an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to support the F&B Director across on-site dining operations. You will supervise daily activities, manage staff, ensure hygiene standards, and help optimise revenue and guest satisfaction.

The role requires 3–5 years in F&B management, leadership, and strong English communication. On-site, full-time with opportunities for development and professional training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in food and beverage management or a similar supervisory role.
• Proven track record of managing multiple F&B outlets or departments.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation and health regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Outstanding customer service orientation and guest handling.
• Proficiency in F&B management systems and POS software.
• Basic financial analysis related to cost controls and profitability.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent English communication; local languages are a plus.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Food hygiene or hospitality management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily management and supervision of all F&B operations across outlets.
• Oversee staff scheduling, training and performance management.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene compliance across all areas.
• Manage inventory, ordering and stock rotation with kitchen and bar teams.
• Assist in menu planning, pricing and promotions to optimise revenue.
• Handle guest complaints with professionalism and swift resolution.
• Conduct regular inspections of F&B facilities and equipment.
• Prepare and analyze F&B reports including cost controls and sales variance.
• Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Director on strategic improvements.
