Job summary

Universal Robina Corporation is seeking an Assistant Category Manager to lead brand initiatives within your category, ensure timely delivery, and strengthen market position in the Philippines.

You will manage financial health, participate in research, and develop packaging variations and product extensions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, Marketing, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in category management, brand management, trade marketing, or product management.
• Familiar with brand positioning, trade execution, and go-to-market strategies.
• Innovative thinking with ability to improve pricing, promotions, and product assortment.
• Experience in the Feeds, Agriculture, or Livestock industry—preferred in product handling or portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Create, improve and manage the different brands under your category while ensuring timeliness and quality.
• Plan, manage and control financial health of your category and all its brands.
• Recommends research initiatives for market, competitors and new products or opportunities.
• Plan and implement new business or product development initiatives with brand extensions and packaging variations.

Universal Robina Corporation is looking for an Assistant Category Manager

What are the Roles and Responsibilities?

• Create, improve and manage the different brand under your category by spearheading all brand building initiatives while ensuring that the timeliness are followed to achieve the desired level of quality

• Plan, manage and control financial health of your category and all the brands under it

• Recommends research initiatives that may provide information or inputs regarding present market, competitor activities, present brand status in the market and new products and/or opportunities

• Plan and implement new business or product development initiatives by recommending and creating brand extensions, packaging variations and brand terminations

• Perform other related functions which maybe assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

What are the Qualifications?

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, Marketing, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or any related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in category management, brand management, trade marketing, or product management.

• Familiar with brand positioning, trade execution, and go-to-market strategies.

• Innovative thinking with the ability to recommend improvements in pricing, promotions, and product assortment

• Experience in the Feeds, Agriculture, or Livestock industry—preferably in product handling, portfolio management, or commercial operations.
