Qualifications

• Solid foundation in general accounting, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, and financial statement review.
• Knowledge of accounting standards, local tax regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to the Philippines.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and guide team members.
• Proven organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet reporting deadlines.
• Previous experience in general accounting, preferably in a retail or multi-branch business environment.
• Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and commitment to maintaining confidential financial information.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day general accounting operations and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconcile accounts, and monitor transactions for completeness.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities and assist in financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and support audits and internal controls.
