Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the company's asset registry/database.
• Record all acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and write-offs of company assets.
• Assign asset identification tags/barcodes and ensure proper labeling.
• Monitor the location, condition, and status of all company assets.
• Coordinate with various departments regarding asset issuance, transfer, and return.
• Prepare, issue, and maintain all employee asset accountability forms.
• Ensure employees sign accountability forms upon receipt of company assets.
• Monitor outstanding accountability forms and follow up on missing or incomplete documents.
• Process asset clearances for resigning, transferring, or retiring employees.
• Maintain organized physical and electronic copies of accountability records.
• Conduct regular physical inventory and reconcile asset records with actual counts.
• Investigate discrepancies and prepare reports on inventory variances.
• Coordinate the repair, maintenance, and disposal of company assets as necessary.
• Generate periodic reports on asset status, accountability, inventory results, and asset improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and recommend improvements to asset control procedures.
• Assist the HR and Purchasing Department and prepare related reports as needed.
