Job summary

JTI GBS Manila seeks an Asset Accounting Manager to lead an asset accounting team responsible for end-to-end fixed asset accounting across 40+ entities globally. You will oversee capitalization, depreciation, transfers, retirements, reporting, reconciliations, controls, and stakeholder management.

You will guide a 12-15 person team, ensure compliance with JSOX and internal controls, and partner with Corporate Finance to standardize IFRS-compliant processes while driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
• CPA/ACCA/CIMA is an advantage
• At least 5 years in financial reporting, accounting, or finance operations in a multinational
• Strong SAP Asset Accounting (AA) expertise
• People leadership experience managing medium-sized teams
• Experience in shared services environments preferred
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and project management skills

JTI GBS Manila is looking for an experienced Asset Accounting Manager to lead our Asset Accounting team responsible for delivering end-to-end fixed asset accounting services across more than 40 business entities globally. This role oversees the full asset lifecycle, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, retirements, reporting, reconciliations, compliance controls, and stakeholder management.

You will lead a team of 12-15 professionals, drive service excellence, ensure compliance with JSOX and internal controls, support continuous improvement initiatives, and partner closely with Corporate Finance and business stakeholders to maintain standardized and IFRS-compliant processes.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field


• Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is an advantage


• At least 5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or finance operations within a multinational environment


• Strong SAP Asset Accounting (AA) expertise


• People leadership experience managing medium-sized teams


• Experience in shared services environments is preferred
