Job summary

ETS PRODUCTS PHILIPPINES INC. seeks a skilled mechanical assembler to join our team.

The role involves assembling sub-assemblies and complex units from drawings, performing failure analysis, and manufacturing parts through metalworking processes as needed. Candidates should have a degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or industrial mechanics, with at least five years of relevant experience and strong knowledge of drawings and assembly standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, industrial mechanics or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of experience assembling complex electromechanical machines.
• Expert knowledge of manufacturing and assembly drawings.
• Expert knowledge in assembling mechanical components up to complex units.
• Experience with tools and machines listed (manual and mechanical).
• Experience with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Welding experience (MAG, WIG) is advantageous.
• Lifting equipment knowledge is advantageous.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring is advantageous.
• Knowledge of standard automation parts and fasteners is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Independently or jointly assembling sub-assemblies and complex units from drawings or instructions.
• Perform failure analysis and implement solutions.
• Manufacture parts via cutting/transforming metal sheets, drilling, turning or milling as required.

Required Education & Experience

• With a degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, industrial mechanics or equivalent tertiary qualification;

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience of assembling complex electromechanical machines

• Expert knowledge in the use and understanding of manufacturing and assembly drawings

• Expert knowledge in the assembly of mechanical components and modules up to complex units

• Experience and knowledge about and in the correct use of tools (manual and mechanical) and machines such as spanners, torque spanners, pliers, files, drilling machines, but not limited to

• Experience and knowledge in the use of measuring tools such as calipers, angle measuring tools, micrometer screws, but not limited to

• Experience in welding (Electric, MAG, WIG, etc.) is considered an advantage

• Experience in the correct use of lifting equipment is considered an advantage

• Knowledge in electrical wiring is considered an advantage

• Knowledge about typical parts & components such as rivets, rivet nuts, pumps, electrical drives, electrical fans, standard automation equipment and their related fasteners is considered an advantage

Main Tasks & Responsibility

• Independently or jointly conducting the assembly of sub-assemblies and complex units in accordance with drawings, sketches, assembly instructions or verbal statements

• Failure analysis and solving

• If required making of parts using different methodologies such as transforming and cutting of metal sheets, drilling, turning or milling in accordance with drawings, sketches, verbal statements or by own decision
