Job summary

Teksteel Cebu team invites you to begin a detailing career focused on 2D steel drawing editing for fabrication and construction. You will learn by doing, guided by QA feedback and practical examples, working with Australian projects in English.

Progression paths include advanced 2D/GA editing, QA, or structural modelling as you demonstrate accuracy and independence. No Tekla experience is required as training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Spatial thinking and the ability to picture how parts fit together.
• Careful visual observation and attention to detail.
• Proficient written and spoken English.
• Proficient desktop computer use; able to learn new software workflows.
• Receptive to feedback and able to improve with practice.
• Willingness to learn and check your own work.

Responsibilities

• Edit single-part drawings and progress into assembly drawings.
• Apply ESD’s drawing, dimensioning and presentation standards.
• Understand how drawings represent steel components.
• Check work before submission and raise uncertainties early.
• Learn and repeat fundamentals to build accuracy and independence.
