Job summary

Quess Philippines Corp is seeking an Application Developer to design, build, and configure applications for business processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze user needs, and implement solutions that boost operational efficiency in a hybrid setup in Mandaluyong.

Applicants should have at least 5 years as an AS400/Midas engineer, with strong knowledge of AS400, CL/RPGLE, SQL, DB2, MQ, and IBM WebSphere.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as AS400/Midas Engineer or similar.
• Strong knowledge in AS400, CL/RPGLE, SQL, DB2, MQ, IBM WebSphere.
• Experience in system optimization and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge in JAVA, IBM WebSphere and MDCMS source control is an added advantage.
• Understanding of Clearing and Settlements for Securities Trades, Corporate Actions, FX and Money Market deal and General Ledger.

Job description

As an Application Developer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to meet specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams, analyzing user needs, and implementing solutions that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Proven experience as an AS400/Midas Engineer or in a similar role.
• Must have strong technical knowledge in AS400, CL/RPGLE, SQL, DB2, MQ, IBM WebSphere
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in system optimization and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Very good organizational skills with attention to details
• Knowledge in JAVA, IBM WebSphere and MDCMS source control is an added advantage
• Understanding of Clearing and Settlements for Securities Trades, Corporate Actions, FX and Money Market deal and General Ledger

Work Set up: Hybrid
