Job summary

Appsierra Group is seeking a motivated Area Supervisor – ARR to oversee ARR project implementation across Karnataka, ensuring high-quality plantation and milestone achievement. The role reports to the project lead and collaborates with field officers and partner organizations.

You will supervise field teams, verify data, coordinate farmer onboarding and training, and ensure compliance with SOPs and carbon project requirements, traveling across Karnataka as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Horticulture, Agroforestry and Agriculture.
• 0 to 1 year of work experience.
• Experience in agroforestry, forestry, afforestation, reforestation, or related development projects.
• Strong knowledge of plantation management, agroforestry systems and farmer engagement.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital data collection tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Karnataka.

Responsibilities

• Supervise ARR project implementation within assigned areas.
• Lead and monitor field officers and partner organizations.
• Ensure quality plantation, survival rate, and timely milestone achievement.
• Coordinate farmer onboarding, training, and stakeholder engagement.
• Verify field data, geo-tagging, and project documentation.
• Conduct regular site visits and submit progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with Varaha SOPs and carbon project requirements.
