Job summary

J&T Express Philippines seeks an Area Manager to oversee the productive operations of its branches, drive sales, and control costs across multiple units.

You will lead a team of Supervisors, ensure SOP compliance, develop business strategies with HQ, and report progress to senior leadership. The role requires a business degree and at least five years in store or business management, with strong logistics or e-commerce background.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Business Administration or Business Management.
• At least 5 years experience as store or business manager.
• Proven experience as area manager, store manager, or similar role.
• Strong background in Logistics Operations or E-Commerce.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Understanding of service operations optimization and SOPs.
• Ability to prepare and present reports.
• Knowledgeable in strategic management with strong business acumen.
• Problem-solving abilities and ability to relate to all levels of hierarchy.

Responsibilities

• Conscientiously oversees operations to ensure efficiency and prevent errors.
• Familiarizes self with J&T Express standards and objectives across units.
• Establishes compliance with SOPs.
• Forms business development strategies with coordination with Headquarters.
• Provides practical solutions to operational and relational problems.
• Ensures branches are profitable and stay within expense budgets.
• Leads Supervisors for effective collaboration toward goals.
• Assists upper management in expansion decisions.
• Regularly reports progress and issues to senior executives.
