Job summary

Realcognita in Taguig City is seeking a qualified Architectural Drafter to join our onsite team. You will produce detailed architectural drawings using Archicad and BIM workflows, develop master plans, elevations, sections, and construction details, and ensure alignment with NCC, Australian, and US standards where applicable.

Collaborate with the drafting manager and project teams to meet deadlines, implement feedback, and maintain high drafting quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/degree in Architecture or equivalent drafting course preferred.
• 1–3 years of ArchiCAD drafting experience, residential focus.
• Knowledge of NCC, Australian/US standards advantageous.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare Detailed Architectural Drawings:

• Can use Archicad and BIM workflows to produce accurate complex architectural documentation/drafts.
• Interpret and produce detailed master plan, floor plans, elevations, sections, site plans, and construction details and variation orders.
• Translates design concepts and markups into accurate, model-based drawings and documentation.
• Works closely with the drafting manager and team to ensure standards and project requirements are met.
• Used Archicad to develop and produce detailed technical documentation including floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and 3D models

Commitment to Learning and Applying Relevant Standards:

• Must be committed to learning and applying both Australian Standards and U.S. Standards.
• Stay up to date with changes in building codes, accessibility requirements, and drafting standards in both jurisdictions.
• Ensure all plans comply with the applicable standards based on project location or client requirements.

Maintain High-Quality Drafting Standards:

• Perform self-checking of work to eliminate errors before submission.
• Actively incorporate feedback from seniors, managers, and clients to refine and improve outputs.
• Manage and prioritize multiple project tasks to meet deadlines and milestones

Collaborate with Department Teams and Stakeholders:

• Communicate clearly with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve design or documentation issues.
• Support the project team in meeting deadlines and ensuring all documentation aligns with client expectations and project goals.

Job Requirements:

• A bachelor/college degree in Architecture or equivalent drafting course is desirable but not mandatory.
• Must have at least 1 to 3 years of recent work experience using ArchiCAD drafting programs/software.
• With minimum of 6 months 1 year experience in residential drafting using ArchiCAD.
• An understanding & knowledge of NCC, Australian standard and/or US standards would be advantageous but not essential.
