The role offers hands-on involvement from site assessment to detailed drawings and implementation, working closely with management, our engineer, and maintenance staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Experience as Architectural Designer or similar role preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary concepts, architectural designs, layouts and detailed drawings for renovation and development projects.
• Prepare working drawings, construction drawings, and technical details for project implementation.
• Coordinate with management, engineer, and maintenance team on project requirements and design considerations.
• Conduct site inspections, measurements, and site analysis before and during design development.
• Prepare space plans and design solutions for commercial, office, residential, parking, and event spaces.
• Produce 3D models, renderings, and visual presentations to communicate designs clearly.

Architectural Designer

About the Role

Esplanade Realty Inc., operating under the brand Biz Terreno Commercial Center, is looking for a talented and hands-on Architectural Designer to join our small team in Quezon City.

The Architectural Designer will be involved in the planning, renovation, improvement, and development of company-owned properties, including commercial spaces, offices, residential units, parking facilities, and event spaces.

As part of a small and hands-on team, you will work closely with management, our engineer, and the in-house maintenance team to transform project requirements and concepts into practical, functional, and visually appealing designs.

This role offers the opportunity to be directly involved in projects—from site assessment and conceptual design to detailed drawings and actual implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop preliminary concepts, architectural designs, layouts, and detailed drawings for renovation and development projects

• Prepare working drawings, construction drawings, and technical details for project implementation

• Coordinate directly with management, our engineer, and the in-house maintenance team regarding project requirements and design considerations

• Conduct site inspections, measurements, and site analysis before and during design development

• Prepare space plans and design solutions for commercial, office, residential, parking, and event spaces

• Produce 3D models, renderings, and visual presentations to clearly communicate proposed designs

• Revise drawings and designs based on actual site conditions, engineering requirements, and management feedback

• Recommend practical materials, finishes, fixtures, and design solutions considering functionality, aesthetics, durability, and cost

• Maintain organized project drawings, design files, specifications, and other technical documentation

• Assist in estimating project timelines, material requirements, and scope during the design and planning stage

• Ensure designs comply with applicable architectural standards, building requirements, and project specifications

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field

• Experience as an Architectural Designer, Architectural Staff, Junior Architect, or similar role is preferred

• Proficient in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or equivalent

• Strong technical drawing and space-planning skills

• Ability to create 3D models, renderings, and design presentations

• Experience preparing working drawings and construction documentation

• Good understanding of materials, finishes, and practical construction applications

• Willing and able to conduct on-site measurements, inspections, and coordination

• Strong attention to detail and ability to translate concepts into practical design solutions

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Creative, resourceful, and capable of solving design challenges based on actual site conditions

• Comfortable working in a small, hands-on team environment

• Able to work independently while coordinating closely with management, our engineer, and maintenance personnel
