Job Summary
The Architect is responsible for planning, designing, and supporting the execution of construction projects. The role involves preparing design drawings, coordinating with engineers and clients, and ensuring that project requirements are translated into accurate and buildable plans.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design & Planning
- Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, and design concepts
- Develop plans based on client requirements and project specifications
- Ensure designs are practical, cost‑efficient, and buildable
- Revise drawings based on feedback from clients and project team
2. Technical Drawings & Documentation
- Produce detailed drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools
- Prepare working drawings, shop drawings, and as‑built plans
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of plans before site implementation
3. Coordination
- Coordinate with engineers (civil, electrical, mechanical) for integrated plans
- Work closely with Project Engineers and Site Engineers for execution
- Assist in client meetings and presentation of designs
4. Site Support
- Conduct site visits to verify actual conditions
- Provide technical clarifications to site team
- Assist in resolving design‑related issues during construction
- Assist in preparation of permit drawings and submission requirements
- Maintain organized project files and documentation
- Assist in material selection and specification
- Coordinate with procurement for materials aligned with design
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
- Licensed Architect is an advantage but not required
- At least 1–3 years experience (for mid‑level); fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles
