Job summary

ROTAFLEX CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT CORP in Valenzuela City seeks a PRC-licensed Architect to lead design and documentation for residential projects. You will develop concepts, prepare plans, and coordinate with structural and MEP disciplines on-site.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Architecture, strong knowledge of the National Building Code, and proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit. Based at Valenzuela site with field work and client-facing presentations.

Qualifications

• PRC-licensed Architect with valid certification.
• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
• Knowledge of National Building Code, Valenzuela zoning, and local regulations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; SketchUp and Revit knowledge preferred.
• Residential project experience is strongly preferred.
• Willing to be based at Valenzuela site and perform field work.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

Design & Documentation

• Develop architectural concepts, schematic designs, and detailed construction documents (floor plans, elevations, sections, perspectives)
• Produce drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or related software
• Coordinate architectural plans with structural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering drawings
• Prepare design specifications, material schedules, and cost estimates

Regulatory & Permits

• Ensure full compliance with National Building Code of the Philippines, Valenzuela City zoning ordinances, fire code, accessibility standards, and other local regulations
• Prepare and process building permit documents and secure necessary approvals from Valenzuela LGU and other agencies

Site & Construction Administration

• Conduct regular site inspections to verify conformance with approved plans and specifications
• Review shop drawings, material samples, and submittals for design compliance
• Resolve design queries, RFIs, and site issues; issue clarifications and necessary design changes
• Monitor construction quality and provide technical guidance to site team

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with Project Manager, engineers, contractors, and suppliers
• Present design proposals and updates to project owner/client
• Assist in cost control and value engineering recommendations
