Job summary

Global Payments Inc. seeks an Accounting Supervisor to lead the Order to Cash and Accounts Receivable teams, coaching staff to meet deadlines and ensuring regulatory compliance for assigned entities.

The role requires 5+ years in AR/general accounting with supervisory experience, CPA preferred but not required. Onsite work in Vertis North Quezon City is expected; Oracle/Salesforce experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from a reputable college/university
• Minimum of 5 years combined experience in accounts receivable, general accounting, and/or audit
• At least 3 years supervisory experience or strong leadership potential
• Skilled in using accounting software/applications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Fluent in English for verbal and written communication
• Flexible with shift and night schedules as needed
• Willing to work onsite in Vertis North Quezon City
• Preferred: Certified Public Accountant
• Exposure to multinational operations helpful
• Experience with Oracle, Salesforce or billing/collections tools

Responsibilities

• Applies solid accounting knowledge in performance of the role
• Reviews journal entries related to AR adjustments and supports supervisor/manager review
• Completes month-end closing activities and adheres to closing calendar
• Utilizes Oracle GL module for accounting and reporting
• Maintains understanding of company operations and business rationale
• Prepares monthly P&L analysis and Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Coordinates with multiple departments to obtain and validate information
• Ensures controls for validity/accuracy of accounting data
• Keeps orderly accounting records for audit trail
• Reviews high volume AR transactions
• Follows SOPs and internal controls to ensure output quality
• Performs analysis for accuracy and compliance with policies
• Supports US consolidation month-end close
• Handles general/ country-specific tasks as required
• Supports statutory/regulatory compliance deadlines
