Job Title: Application Engineer – Workday Compensation & Benefits

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Application Engineer with expertise in Workday Compensation and Benefits modules to support, configure, and enhance enterprise applications. This role involves working closely with business teams and IT to deliver solutions across Workday and related systems, ensuring seamless integration, operational support, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in Workday Compensation, Benefits, and related modules (Payroll, Talent, Absence, Time Tracking, Integration, Security, Data Conversion).
• Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise applications, integrating them with internal systems like SAP.
• Support software development lifecycle, including debugging, enhancements, and workflow automation.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into actionable, fit‑for‑purpose solutions.
• Participate in Agile DevOps teams and manage change effectively.
• Monitor interfaces, data loads, and system performance; troubleshoot and resolve incidents.
• Develop and maintain support documentation while ensuring IP compliance.
• Identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with team members on tactical and strategic solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Workday modules (Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, Absence, Time Tracking, Integration, Security, Data Conversion) and Workday tools (EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Web Services).
• Familiarity with ServiceNow HR Service Delivery Suite, portal configuration, and integrations is a plus.
• Working knowledge of software engineering principles, scripting, and low‑code platforms.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Self‑directed, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Additional experience in programming or platforms such as C#, Java, Python, SQL, Angular, Node.js, Azure, and Web technologies is advantageous.
